Checking out the group rec.arts.movies.current-films to see if there is any good catch for this long weekend. Doesn’t seem like its going to be a hit for Machete.

Hahahaha. Seriously, you guys are expecting a work of art from a movie called “Machete?” All right, judging a book by its cover aside, look at the acting lineup. When was the last time any of these people were in anything good? De Niro. Jessica Alba. Michelle Rodriduez. Steven “I turned down Expendables for this?” Seagal. At this point, The Situation and Snookie would be a step up. It’s a blood and guts fantasy movie, shot by a guy who enjoys his craft and likes telling stories he wants to tell. It’s a work. It’s not a work of art.

I’m not sure it will be worthy of my money though. Come on.. Lindsay Lohan is in the cast =X She wasn’t even worth to be shown on the trailer, I guess its that bad.
